Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn’t worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone’s amazement he
quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer’s neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up.

Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

MORAL FROM TODAY’S LESSON:

When you do something wrong, and try to cover your ass, it always comes back to bite you.

Historically, one man misfortune,turns into another mans golden goose, which is certainly the case with internet marketing at the moment, folks are recognising that the internet is growing daily, and are beginning to understand the that by leveraging it, how they can move their lives forward by providing the solutions people are looking for, which brings us back to the opening $1,000,000 question.

Having been online now for some time and now enjoying the income, freedom and lifestyle that can be achieved, after of course like so many others having suffered my fair share of disapointments, I offer this as only my opinion, the saying “if I knew then what i know now” springs to mind.

The 1st thing I believe you should do is find someone who is achieving exactly what you want to achieve, and simply copy them, a tactic I wish I had used in my early days online, the endless but fruitless hour punching a key board that could of been avoided is untrue.

Then you need to learn how to make money without having or developing your own products, and of course where to find those products, and be sure that what you intend to supply offers true value to the buyer, they are buying from you because they are looking for a 100% rock solid solution, so be sure you deliver, in fact exceeding a persons expectations is the way to go, so always over deliver, give value.

Once you are at this stage all you now need to do is to learn how to market yourself, your product, and your business, my suggestion here would be to pick one form of marketing that you like and are reasonably comfortable with, and master it, let that be the base that you begin to build your business on, dont try and run before you can walk.

And the final ingredient I truely believe you need is an open mind, one that is prepared to listen, watch and learn.

You have, adwords, Video, classifieds, forums, ppc ppa ppv, twitter, bebo, myspace, social bookmarking, facebook, orkut, blogging, safelists, link exchanges, banner exchange, and 101 various forms of paid advertising, to name but a few, the list is endless. Getting traffic to your site is gonna be easy, a walk in the park. You throw yourself into your marketing, with every ounce of energy and commitment that you have, and 9 times out of ten you achieve zilch, why, because, when your starting out, you try to do it all, and you try and do it all today, you attempt all the different forms of marketing without really knowing what you are doing, so you inevitably do them all badly.

My belief is to keep things very very simple.

Pick one form of marketing, and simply learn it, make it your business to learn every aspect of it, every different approach, every different technique, do some research, believe me the the web is full of info and what to do and more importantly what not to do. When you have mastered, and become totally confident with your chosen method, continue with that, while adding another, then when you have mastered that, add another, then another, and another.

Follow this principle and you will see results.

I personally am a big believer in systems, creating some structure to what you are doing, a plan of action if you like, again when starting out, set yourself up to win, there is little point in drawing up your daily to do list, with so many things on there that you not got a chance in hell of completing the list, this will leave you feeling a little disheartened, so you do what a large proportion of people do, which is to give up. When your drawing up your to do list, remember you can always add to it as you become more skilled at what you are doing,what takes 2 hour to do today will more likely be taking you just 30 minutes 7 days from now.

Set yourself up to win…………………………..

For many years now i have never ever watched the news, I have chosen not to as I like to keep myself in a highly positive state of mind, thats not to to I bury my head in the sand, I just choose not to let what I can influense very little, begin to even come close to influensing me and my outlook.

This Morning however I thought ok lets give it a shot, switched on GMTV, Ok there was talk of our man standing a sensible of winning wimbledon, other than that , well , One million people to lose there jobs as a direct result of the mini budget, cuts to the already over stretched NHS, and as if that wasnt enough, again we were reminded, just how badly our national team let us down in the world cup. Tony Blair kicked it off, he passed the ball to Gordon Brown ,Who had Alistair Darling, as a support team,(stick with me ), They scored so many home goals it was untrue, which left the ball in no mans land, THEN, as if that wasnt enough , there wasnt a political party strong enough on it own to continue playing the game , it,s now takes two, is that so they can pass the ball, to dissolve responsibilty, a little like Gerrard did……

Enough rambling, on a more serious note, how many more jobs are going to be axed over the coming weeks, months, and possibly years, it could be yours, it could happen today , next week or next month. What will you do then , go get another, ……….. good luck,and if you do who to say you wont find yourself in the same position again at some point.

One thing is for sure , it want be mine, thank the lord for internet marketing , infact within the community things have never been better, more and more people are looking toward the internet as a means of supplementing or replacing there income, there really has never been a better time to get involved, its supply and demand, cause and effect.

Maybe, just maybe its time to take control of your own destiny.

Well, thats a $,1000.000 question, and I’m sure if the truth were known, one that is seldom asked  when first starting out , either subsidizing , or replacing your existing income  by means of a internet based business.

Lets face it the web is full of  various different ways to make money, some good , some not so good, and some are out  and out scams.

The good ones are great if all you  need is opportunity and product, If only life was that simple. Lets approach this from a newbie point of view, the first 2 issues, in reality can be easy to find, what is lacking 99% of the time is support, coaching and hands on tuition , how to market the product, where to market, what works, and what does not, where to spend your money to get the best ROI.

From experience I know that probably the single toughest part of starting out with your online business is the feeling of isolation, sure its great for a while, but as you start to gain some confidence, you need people around you to bounce off, swap ideas, ask questions , communicate with, learn from, you need people around you to help develop you and your skills, and more importantly you need someone behind you when it all starts to look a little bit tougher than you first thought, and it will.

To help you along the way a little, and save you countless hours of hard but fruitless work, here a few things you may want to consider before investing any of your hard earned money

Do you know how to market yourself, do you know how to market your product, do you know where to market. Do you know how find and drive targeted traffic to your website. You have probably heard the saying ” the moneys in the list”, do you know how to build that all important list, then build a relationship with your list and turn them into buyers. Do you really want to invest thousand in  building a high converting website, Do you have any support when it gets tough, do you have anyone to answer the 1,000,001 questions that you are going to have.

The list could go on and on and on , but you get the idea.

So take your time , don’t jump into the 1st thing that catch’s your eye , if you are serious about earning your living online, then invest sometime to do the research.
